Hot off the press! A Texas Sheriff has just formally announced he was leaving the Democrat party and joining the party that actually cares about the border fiasco, and law enforcement officers.
The Democrats have been the party of the criminal for some time now. Every policy that comes out just further leads to an even gentler handed approach to criminals, while imposing the strictest penalties for law abiding citizens. Not only are we conservatives getting sick and tired of this, but so are Democrats.
We loveTrump reports, last week, a sheriff in Texas switched parties and is now a Republican.
As a result of Republican Party of Texas Chairman Matt Rinaldi’s leadership, Karnes County Sheriff Dwayne Villanueva became the second high-profile elected official to reject the Democrat Party.
Villanueva said in a press release. “I look forward to continuing the strong tradition of excellent law enforcement in Karnes County, which requires us to come together for a common cause and seek out leaders of integrity and merit,”
This news comes as even in liberal strongholds members of the Democrat party are switching sides.
Ny times reports, Ari Kagan, a first-term Democrat on the New York City Council, would be logical to want to curry favor with his party, which controls the council by a wide margin. Instead, he switched parties this month to join the Council’s other five Republicans.
The move could be beneficial to Mr. Kagan, who represents a district in South Brooklyn that is becoming more conservative – even if it means losing power and influence on the Council. According to Mr. Kagan, the Democratic Party has drifted too far to the left, especially in New York.
“It’s not me leaving the Democratic Party,” Mr. Kagan said. “The Democratic Party started to leave me.”
In New York City, where Democrats outnumber Republicans seven to one, Republicans are making gains. Every county in the city voted more Republican than it did in the 2020 presidential election, and three Democratic members of the State Assembly lost to Republicans in South Brooklyn.
Clearly the woke liberal agenda is failing across the United States, as the Democrat party free falls even further to the left. Americans are beginning to realize that the Democrats no longer hold their best interests at heart, and are lowering the standard of living for everyone, people are flocking to the conservative wing of the party. Clearly Texas has been facing a massive crisis as millions of illegal aliens are pouring across the border, and the sheriff did the only thing that was right for his constituents, he switched parties to make sure that the appropriate border control policies would be put into place in his county. Now, we need more and more sheriffs and other elected officials to wake up, and start doing what is right for their people.
