Are the federal government and certain companies colluding to undermine citizens’ constitutional protections? House Republicans think so, and they’ve proposed a subcommittee to conduct an in-depth investigation into what they call “weaponization” of government. Could this sound the alarm on possible misconduct between businesses and governmental agencies? Given the recent Twitter Files revelations I have to say yes. However, we’ll have to wait and see what comes of the inquiry. Stay tuned for more news about the GOP’s plans for this potentially explosive inquiry!
The Republicans are ready to take the gloves off! With the new House rules package put forward by the GOP, citizens can expect a fireworks display of the inner-workings within the federal government. The proposal to create a Select Committee for the Weaponization of the Federal Government is sure to bring forth the “Twitter Files” bombshell that showed clear collusion between the FBI and Twitter. Hold on tight as the Republicans get ready to unravel the truth!
Epoch Times reports, according to Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), the FBI should be investigated in the same way as the Church Committee, which investigated abuses by the CIA, FBI, IRS, and NSA in the 1970s.
Frank Church, then a senator from Idaho, led the committee that unveiled the infamous MKULTRA program of the CIA, which involved the drugging and torture of American citizens for the purpose of experimentation on mind control.
Last week, Jordan told Just the News, “We’ve been looking at a Church-style committee to look at this.”
The Twitter Files disclosures have raised serious suspicions, with the clear collusion between the FBI and Twitter coming to light. Not only the FBI, the tangled web of state agencies, private contractors and government-affiliated nongovernmental organizations were also sending out content-related flags and action requests. Despite denial of the FBI of any wrongdoing, the recent proposed agenda from Jim Jordan further intensifies conversations over potentially greater information sharing between the two entities. Such solid proof is yet another indicator of the slippery slope our society will be traversing if direct contact between governments and large technology companies continue in the future.
Get ready for a scandal like never before! The new House rules package proposed by the Republicans is sure to stir up a hornet’s nest as they investigate weaponization of the federal government. As the Select Committee delves into the “Twitter Files” conspiracy and reveals collusion between the FBI and Twitter, everyone needs to brace themselves for an explosive conclusion that will surely rock Washington D.C. to its core!
