The left oftentimes resorts to fear, threats of violence, and unfortunately actual violence to achieve their political goals. Yet the Supreme Court members are supposed to be protected from that public pressure, and acts of violence so they can remain impartial to the political atmosphere, and rule based on the constitution.
America changed for the worse earlier this year when for the first time in history a supreme court ruling was leaked to the press ahead of when it was supposed to be released. This happened when a political activist staffer, took the draft ruling and leaked it to the press. That action instantly ignited a storm across the country, massive protests, acts of violence against pro-life centers, and even attempted assassinations of sitting SCOTUS members.
Newsmax reports, in his year-end report on the judiciary, Chief Justice John Roberts stressed the need for enhanced security for federal judges amid rising threats and a bitter abortion debate.
Two weeks prior to Roberts’ nine-page annual report, Congress passed legislation allowing federal judges and Supreme Court justices to shield their personal information online from public disclosure.
Chief Justice Roberts wrote in the report “The law requires every judge to swear an oath to perform his or her work without fear or favor, but we must support judges by ensuring their safety, A judicial system cannot and should not live in fear.”
According to the US Marshals Service, judges faced 4,511 threats and inappropriate communications in 2021, up from 926 in 2015. In recent years, threats against members of Congress have also increased significantly.
Earlier this year a man was arrested while trying to end the life of one supreme court justice.
After being arrested near the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, an armed California man was charged with attempted murder in June.
A draft Supreme Court opinion was leaked in May, which would have overturned Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion nationwide in 1973. Authorities said the man was upset about the leaked opinion.
In his nine-page year-end report, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has made it clear that liberal lunatics have reached a breaking point. After Congress approved legislation granting judges the ability to keep their personal information off the web amid a surge of threats, Roberts highlighted the need for greater security in federal judiciary. After witnessing first-hand the fear, intimidation and violence perpetrated by those on the left trying to push their radical liberal agenda, Roberts went on to call for unimpeachable measures to guarantee that liberal lunatics cannot silence justice with their abhorrent tactics. This display of fortitude from the highest court in America is only further proof of why a conservative majority must be defended in all branches of government if any semblance of law and order is to prevail.
