A unanimous vote by all nine committee members led to four criminal referrals being sent to the DOJ last month regarding Trump, according to the Washington Examiner.
On CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, Kinzinger, one of two Republicans on the Jan. 6 committee, said Trump committed crimes.
Additionally, Kinzinger said that he believes Trump should be charged and convicted for the crimes referred to by the committee. According to Kinzinger, the United States’ future is at stake if Trump is not indicted.
Trump’s subpoena was withdrawn last week by the Jan. 6 committee as the investigation was completed, and the select committee will dissolve by the next Congress.

This far-fetched grandstanding by Kinzinger is nothing short of pathetic, as he used his final days in the House to beg for his five seconds of fame on CNN. What’s even more appalling is that Kinzinger and others have ignored their duty to investigate actual provable criminal activities during and before January 6th —wherein dozens of Trump supporters were unjustifiably charged with felonies while BLM and Antifa rioters went unpunished. Despite this sham committee, we can all be certain that justice will prevail—the Department of Justice will recognize that Trump did nothing wrong and he will remain innocent in the eyes of the law.
