Trump Latest Chess Move for The 2024 Nomination is Unlike Nothing Ever Seen

Donald Trump has captured the attention of the nation, and it seems he may be taking it a step further. The idea that he’s playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers implies perfectly to this scenario, he is already thinking ahead of everyone in case things don’t go his way. Reports suggest a goal of his  may be to build support for a third political party. Whether this will come to fruition or not remains to be seen, but one thing is certain – you can’t deny President Trump’s genius in pursuing such an ambitious endeavor.

President Donald Trump has hinted that he may consider a third-party run in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, should he not win the Republican Party’s nomination. This move would be incredibly controversial and likely cause considerable divisions within the GOP. It could potentially pave the way for a fractured party and create two distinct lanes of support leading up to a general election. While Trump is arguably one of the most successful politicians in modern times, his determined pursuit of a third-party bid could create issues for establishment Republicans going forward. This chess move should terrify the establishment.

The postmillennial reports, Earlier this week, President Donald Trump shared an article in which he argued that if the Republican Party fails to nominate him in 2024, he should run as a third-party candidate.

In a post to his social media platform Truth Social, Trump linked to an article in American Greatness entitled “The Coming Split,” where the writer states that he has “no intention of supporting a Republican Party” that doesn’t nominate the 45th president for a second term, promoting a run outside of the two-party system instead.

The writer Dan Gelernter said, “If you ask me, Trump’s presidency was much more ‘American’ than it was ‘Republican.’ That’s why it was such a success and why so many of us loved it. Now, if the Republican Party thinks it’s not big enough for Trump, it’s not going to be big enough for me either.”

He continued, “Do I think Trump can win as a third-party candidate? No. Would I vote for him as a third-party candidate? Yes.” Explaining that voting for a different Republican would support Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s propensity to send taxpayer funds to Ukraine.

Former Fox News political analyst Juan Williams tweeted about this saying, “If Trump follows @SenatorSinema’s lead and runs for president as an independent he instantly launches the most consequential third-party candidacy in American history.”

Which for once would make Juan correct. However there is a lot at stake here and this move could ultimately cripple the Republican chances of winning all together.

DeSantis, from Florida, has not yet announced his candidacy for president, but he is likely to be Trump’s biggest opponent.

Suffolk University conducted a survey from Dec. 7-11, and found that nearly two-thirds of Republican and independent voters who identify as conservatives or very conservatives wish DeSantis were running for president, and 56 percent of those same voters preferred him over former President Donald Trump.

The United States has a stronghold on the two-party system, challenging the status quo is no easy feat. Donald Trump is the only person with enough conviction and support if it ever comes to that to have a shot at pulling off a successful third party victory in this upcoming election. Although his chances are slim, his position still puts pressure on the establishment to act quickly or face potential disaster. Trump’s success will be largely determined by his efforts to get ahead of the game and strategize in a way that can help overcome the odds stacked against him; it appears he hasn’t given up hope and continues to work toward an advantageous outcome. This race may be more difficult than before, but ultimately it is up to the establishment to ensure Trump’s opposition is ready for a fight.
