How Tall are You? It May Mean Life or Death, according to Climate Crazies at the NY Times!

A guest essay for the New York Times argued that short people are “better” for the future. According to author Mara Altman, shorter people not only live longer, but they also conserve food and resources in our dying world.

The piece states, “Short people don’t just save resources, but as resources become scarce because of the earth’s growing population and global warming, they may also be best suited for long-term survival (and not just because more of us will be able to jam into spaceships when we are forced off this planet we wrecked).”

In order to create a shorter society, Altman even suggested people intentionally mate with shorter people.

The piece continued, “When you mate with shorter people, you’re potentially saving the planet by shrinking the needs of subsequent generations. Lowering the height minimum for prospective partners on your dating profile is a step toward a greener plane.”

‘The Five’ on FOX News recently covered the piece from the NY Times;

With increasingly ridiculous articles and theories regarding climate change, it’s important to question the nonsense that continues to appear in the media. The latest craziness from the Times suggests that your height might be a factor in determining whether you live or die, but it is difficult to take such scare tactics seriously. Fortunately, most people understand this to be another way for the climate change initiators to control public opinion rather than a valid argument people need to pay attention to. Suggesting individuals mate with shorter people for the betterment of society is an absurd concept – especially considering there are more serious issues at stake! It’s time we put an end to these crazy theories and hoaxes – those who believe in true science will appreciate it.
