Biden Admin DISCRETELY Admits The Truth About Their Disastrous Policy

The Biden Administration’s reckless disregard for the people of this country is painfully obvious with their admission of the truth. It has become glaringly clear that their disastrous policies have only served to hurt our nation; but the truth shall always come out.

After a long battle between the Biden administration and Americans’ opposition to canceling the Keystone XL Pipeline, we have finally gotten some honesty: the Biden administration has quietly admitted that the cancellation cost thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in wages. By admitting this fact, it is clear that much of what Americans had been claiming was accurate, although there are still those who disagree. This news came a year later when the Department of Energy was asked to give a report about the keystone pipeline. This delayed report was clearly intentional by the administration.

Fox News reports, In a congressionally mandated report, the Biden administration outlined the positive economic impact the Keystone XL Pipeline would have had if its federal permits hadn’t been revoked.

A report by the Department of Energy (DOE) published in late December without any public announcement states that Keystone XL would have generated between 16,149 and 59,000 jobs, as well as a positive economic impact of $3.4-9.6 billion, according to various studies.

In a previous federal government report published in 2014, 3,900 jobs were predicted to be created during construction, which was expected to take two years.

As soon as Biden took office in January 2021, he canceled the pipeline’s permits, effectively terminating the project.

Republican Sen. Steve Daines of Montana said in a statement, “The Biden administration finally owned up to what we have known all along — killing the Keystone XL Pipeline cost good-paying jobs, hurt Montana’s economy and was the first step in the Biden administration’s war on oil and gas production in the United States. Unfortunately, the administration continues to pursue energy production anywhere but the United States.

As a result of Daines and Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho, successfully inserting a bill mandating the report into the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that Biden signed into law in November 2021, the DOE must issue the report. While the report was supposed to be released within 90 days of passage, the agency delayed its release for over a year.

The DOE recently said that the project would have had minimal permanent job impacts, but did not mention the thousands of construction jobs expected.

Biden’s decision to cancel the pipeline has received widespread criticism from Republican lawmakers and energy industry representatives who have argued it would have helped keep gas prices down and ensure energy security.

According to its operator, TC Energy, Keystone XL is scheduled to be completed early this year and transport 830,000 barrels of crude oil from Canada to the U.S.

It may be too late to address the damage done, but it’s never too late to make a change. The recent admission of wrongdoing by this administration is something of a breakthrough – and one largely credited to conservatives pushing for the truth, who at times were silenced in their efforts. Now that they’ve won a small majority in the government, will this finally be a stepping stone to demand a relaunch of the keystone project? After this, it may give republicans leverage to play with so we can once again return to producing our own oil while  also creating new jobs. If republican leadership can take advantage of this admission, we could surely see some change in the coming months.

Let’s continue this conversation, in the comments below.

  • While most of us know some truth, of course $10 billion is a lot of money.

But I have to ask $10 billion? LOL $10 billion? What's $10 billion today? The Mega Millions lotto is $1.1 billion today. We're sending how many hundreds of billions to Ukraine? We keep passing debt spending of trillions, to the tune of $31.4 TRILLION in straight Federal Debt (excludes "unfunded liabilities, etc.).

So while we know $10 billion is a real number in our economy, it should highlight the absolute disturbing spending habits of our Federal Government. Because $10 billion is a a couple hours worth of interest on the current Federal Debt.

  • Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
