Florida Cracks Down On Diversity Spending & Now Asking For RECEIPTS

Florida is making headlines as the first state to ask for receipts when it comes to diversity and inclusion initiatives. In a bold move, Florida is taking steps to ensure accountability and transparency when it comes to how these funds are allocated; something that other states should take note of.

In a major move toward increased university transparency, the state of Florida recently announced its demand for every state university system to report their expenditures related to ‘diversity.’ In today’s corrupt times, it’s more important than ever before that lawmakers understand where their constituents’ funds are allocated. Transparency can be a difficult subject for the left but the best way to hold anyone accountable is by publicly declaring what investments and money have been put in place. If an individual or organization has nothing to hide, then there should not be any fear in providing detailed information on what has been spent and why.

Breitbart reports that DeSantis is taking the offensive by requiring that all state university systems in the Sunshine State provide information on expenditures related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as Critical Race Theory (CRT).

The governor’s press secretary announced it on Twitter.

MEMO: All state university & college systems in Florida have been required to report expenditures and resources utilized for campus activities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion and critical race theory. Stay tuned.

In the letter, Manny Diaz and Ray Rodrigues are asked for information from the Department of Education and the State University System. “Regarding the expenditure of state resources on programs and initiatives related to diversity, equity, and including, and critical race theory within our state colleges and universities.”

Before heading into the 2023 legislative session, the DeSantis administration must “fully understand” the operational expenses of these institutions.

The part of the Memorandum reads:

Each Florida College System and State University System institution must complete the attached document to provide a comprehensive list of all staff, programs, and campus activities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and critical race theory. As part of this request, each institution must detail the below costs associated with the administration of each program or activity.

Included in this is a description of the activity, positions associated with it, the total amount of money spent, and the amount of money the state contributed.

According to the letter, responses must be submitted by Friday, January 13, as DeSantis continues to put education – free of woke indoctrination – at the top of his agenda.

DeSantis sent an even stronger message in his inaugural address. TAKE A LOOK>>>>

It’s about time a conservative state leads the way to stand against the radical liberals attempting to take over America. The statement from Florida is a wake-up call to everyone trying to undermine our country; they need to know that enough is enough. Liberals have been using dirty tactics, trying every angle to push their agenda and it must be stopped. Conservatives across the nation need to join together and push back against this mob-rule takeover of our government. It can no longer be tolerated and if other states don’t follow suit in standing up for America, this insidious plot of theirs might actually succeed.
