Biden Panics as House GOP Launches First Investigation into Him

Just days into the House’s new Republican majority, GOP lawmakers are already gunning for President Joe Biden. As of Tuesday, the GOP has launched their first investigation into Biden – and it looks like things are about to get heated. This move from Republicans has left many wondering: how will Joe Biden handle the sudden onslaught of pressure now bearing down on his crumbling administration? Stay tuned as we dive deep into what this could mean for the White House and look at how Biden is responding.

In an investigation into classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center during President Biden’s tenure as vice president, the House Oversight Committee is looking into the discovery.

The Washington Examiner reports, the chairman of the committee, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), requested documents and communications regarding classified documents that had been found from the National Archives and White House Counsel’s Office.

In addition, Comer asked why Biden’s alleged mishandling of classified documents was treated differently than Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents.

Furthermore, Comer expressed concern that Obama-era documents have been mishandled for years after Biden’s term ended.

By Jan. 24, Comer wants both parties to provide him with relevant communications and documents.

CBS News reported Monday that Biden’s lawyers found approximately 10 classified documents at the Penn Biden Center in November 2022 and returned them to the National Archives shortly afterward.

During his visit to Mexico, Joe Biden responded to reports concerning the classified documents found in his DC residence after he left the White House after eight years as vice president.

The President said that when he was briefed about the lawyer’s discovery, he was “surprised to learn that there are any government records that were taken there to that office.”

Buckle up, folks – things are about to get exciting! The GOP has now officially launched their first investigation into President Joe Biden, requesting documents and communications regarding classified documents located within Biden’s old office. While this is certainly cause for excitement amongst Republicans, it may only be the tip of the iceberg as far as investigations into the President go. With the new Republican majority in Congress, there’s no telling how deep down this rabbit hole goes – so, with that being said, get ready to grab your popcorn and settle in for the show we’ve all been waiting for!
