GOP Rep Makes Humiliating Love Confession to Ukrainian President!

A Republican representative has sponsored legislation to display a bust of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Capitol Building.

According to Breitbart, Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) sponsored H. Res. 10, which would “direct the Fine Arts Board to obtain a bust of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, for display in the House of Representatives wing of the United States Capitol.”

The House Administration Committee has been tasked with reviewing the bill.

Wilson is a staunch supporter of Ukraine’s fight against Russia. Wilson led a congressional delegation to Ukraine in December. As part of their effort to boot Russia from the UN’s Security Council, Wilson and Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) sponsored a resolution.

In December, the Ukrainian President delivered a speech to a joint session of Congress where he told the lawmakers that their money is “not charity,” but an “investment.” He also said that the billions in U.S. military and financial assistance is “not enough.”

Despite growing opposition to unending aid to Ukraine and entanglement in that conflict, many Republicans and Democrats remain unwavering in their support.

The embarrassing proposal of a Republican representative to display a bust of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Capitol Building is simply unreal. Joe Wilson’s drastic move to declare his undying love for the Ukrainian President has many scratching their heads. The idea alone of celebrating an outside president in our nation’s capitol is embarrassing, let alone sponsoring legislation that serves no purpose to the American people. Instead of proclaiming his love for Ukraine’s leader, Wilson should be sponsoring legislation that actually helps the people he serves.
