White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was confronted by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy about the second batch of documents found in President Joe Biden’s Delaware garage.
The Daily Caller reports, a search of Biden’s residences on Wednesday found classified documents in the garage, according to Biden’s special counsel Richard Sauber.
In November, his lawyers discovered ten classified documents in the president’s office at the Penn Biden Center, which they later turned over to the National Archives and Records Administration.
So, in response, Peter Doocy simply asked Biden’s press secretary what exactly the White House is “trying to hide.”
Biden himself sparred with Peter Doocy earlier in the day over the second set of documents found locked in the Delaware garage “next to his corvette.”
Asked Tuesday about the contents of the classified documents stored in his office, the president said he was “surprised.” The White House has assured the Justice Department that it is fully cooperating with the investigation.
Peter Doocy is a legend in the journalistic industry; his 8-word question to KJP caught everyone off guard, sending shockwaves through the Biden administration. It was an effective reminder that the Biden administration must be held accountable for their careless behavior, as evidenced by this latest debacle of documents left in a Delaware garage. His straightforward and incisive questions put Biden’s press secretary on the spot and do not give her any room to spin her answer away from accountability or taking responsibility. The significance of Doocy’s work cannot be understated – he demands answers from whoever is standing behind the White House podium like no other reporter can do.
