New York City Mayor Eric Adams is fuming over the record numbers of illegal immigrants who have flooded the city, leaving it at its breaking point, and blaming the Biden administration for failing to provide the help that it needs. Adams issued an emergency bid for joint aid from New York State in order to address both short-term housing needs and long-term financial obligations. 

Finally liberal states are starting to feel the smallest percentage of what the border states are feeling on a daily basis, and regardless of their asylum city status and virtue signaling, it appears that they cannot handle the stark truth of what the illegal immigrant problem actually brings. 

American Outlook reports, The number of migrants arriving in New York and needing services is pushing the city to the breaking point.

This weekend, Adams requested immediate mutual aid from New York State to shelter asylum seekers.

Adam’s said in a statement “We are at our breaking point. Based off our projections, we anticipate being unable to continue sheltering arriving asylum seekers on our own and have submitted an emergency mutual aid request to the State of New York beginning this weekend,” 

Adams went on to say “This type of request, reserved only for dire emergencies, asks the state for support to shelter arriving asylum seekers as the city faces an immediate need for additional capacity. Our initial request is for a shelter to accommodate 500 asylum seekers, but, as New York City continues to see numbers balloon, this estimate will increase as well.”

Adams recently visited the southern border, just to see where this crisis is originating from.

Fox news reports. Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, visited El Paso this weekend to see the U.S.-Mexico border, as the city has been overwhelmed by migrants who have been bused north in recent months, straining public resources. 

Upon arriving in El Paso Saturday evening, Mayor Adams called the surge of migrants a “national crisis.”

The influx of illegal immigrants into the city has already pushed New York to its breaking point and only shows how much failed leadership the Biden administration is showing at this time. Adams isn’t afraid to admit that we need an effective solution, but the problem can no longer be ignored. It’s clear we need to protect our borders again, send in the army, and keep up Trump’s promise to safeguard American citizens – because right now it looks like even Adams knows Trump was right all along.
