In an interview with Fox News over the weekend, former DNI director John Ratcliffe warned a new government report on UFO sightings showed an increase in unexplained sightings, but contained one major flaw.
According to Ratcliffe, the increased number of sightings in the report indicates that military pilots have become more proactive about sharing their observations.
Ratcliffe added, however, that there appears to be technology that may be superior to what the US military has at its disposal. He also said the new reports have revealed that there are hundreds of unexplained sightings where there is “no natural phenomenon involved.”
The U.S. has received more than 500 reports of unidentified flying objects, according to the newly declassified report. According to the military, these are not flying saucers or evidence of alien life. However, they could be evidence of advanced technology in the hands of a potential foe. The majority of these sightings have occurred in sensitive military airspace.
The frightening reality of this new government report is that it seems there is something other-worldly that the US military cannot compete with. Unprecedented numbers of reports have been made by military personnel, demonstrating something that surpasses their own technological capabilities. It’s a frightening yet stunning discovery: what lies beyond our current technological limits may prove to be more advanced than anything we’ve seen before. While some might see this as an opportunity for growth, it is also a frightening reminder of potential threats that lie just outside our comprehension.
