An investigation into Biden’s border crisis is moving full steam ahead almost two weeks after Republicans took control of the House.

A hearing will be held by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability during the week of February 6th to examine the Biden Administration’s policies contributing to the border crisis.

In a press release issued by the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, four career government officials have been contacted to testify about how Border Patrol agents are handling the crisis and how it impacts their mission to secure the border.

Chairman of the committee James Comer said in a statement “President Biden’s radical open borders agenda has ignited the worst border crisis in American history. The Biden Administration’s deliberate actions are fueling human smuggling, stimulating drug cartel operations, enabling deadly drugs such as fentanyl to flow into American communities, and encouraging illegal immigrants to flout U.S. immigration laws.”

Comer added, “Republicans will hold the Biden Administration accountable for this ongoing humanitarian, national security, and public health crisis that has turned every town into a border town.”

Additionally, Chairman Comer wrote letter to Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security, requesting documents, communications, and information regarding DHS’s role in undermining border security.

Mayorkas was given a deadline of February 2nd to submit requested materials.

“The American people and their elected representatives must know DHS’s role in the humanitarian and national security crisis along the U.S. southern border,” Comer wrote to Mayorkas.

The Committee on Oversight and Accountability has vowed to investigate Biden’s border crisis, as well as Pandemic relief fraud, Afghanistan withdrawal, the Energy crisis, the origins of COVID, and Biden family influence peddling.
