According to the Washington Examiner, Scalise told FOX News’ Maria Bartiromo: “You’re going to see Republicans bring bills through the House to actually secure America’s border.”
During the upcoming border security debate, the Louisiana Republican wrote on social media, “the Senate will be forced to declare whether they support open borders or the end of deadly drugs and illegal immigration.”
He added, “They no longer have Pelosi to shield them.”
Meanwhile, The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability announced Thursday that it will hold its first hearing next month on border security at the U.S.-Mexico border.

It’s about time the do-nothing Democrats started paying attention to what the GOP is putting together in the House of Representatives. This package of border security bills they plan on sending to senators would expose how unwilling they have been to take action and get real work done about the crisis at our southern border.
