LIBERALS IN DISBELIEF After Trump Reinstatement!

The news of President Trump’s reinstatement to Facebook, Instagram, and other social media networks has left many liberals in disbelief. After being banned for years, he has now been given the green light to be back online with a vengeance—and hundreds of outraged voices have already been sounded across the web.

According to a blog post published Wednesday, Meta will end the suspension of former President Trump across its platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

FOX Business reports, Trump’s suspension on Facebook and Instagram will be lifted “in the coming weeks,” according to Meta’s president of global affairs Nick Clegg. Initially, Facebook blocked Trump following January 6th.

In May 2021, Facebook’s Oversight Board agreed with Trump’s suspension, though it asked the company to reexamine the suspension and decide the appropriate penalty.

Meta Platforms announced in June 2021 that it would suspend his Facebook and Instagram accounts for two years, ending in January 2023, at which time it would reassess Trump’s situation.

According to Clegg, Trump’s account would be banned if he posts content that constitutes a violation after being reinstated. The length of a suspension could range from one month to two years, depending on the severity of the violation.

In a Twitter debate, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) argued that former President Donald Trump, “like it or not,” has a right to speak out online.

The ACLU’s backlash was brutal, with many liberal posters claiming that Trump should not be allowed back on the sites.

Occupy Democrats contributor Tara Dublin tweeted, “He has his own social media platform to spread dangerous and hateful propaganda, including anti-Semitism. I’m disappointed in this take from you, because you know hate speech should never be protected while victims of hate crimes should be”

Keith Olbermann, a former MSNBC host, claimed that private companies have the right to censor speech, tweeting, “Sort of hard to believe you have mistaken a private website acting under its Terms of Service, and the government trying to suppress 1st Amendment rights.”

Actress Mo Collins said that the ACLU was acting like a child, commenting “Nah. Let’s stick to adulting, ACLU.”

President Trump himself responded to the news, writing on Truth Social, “FACEBOOK, which has lost Billions of Dollars in value since “deplatforming” your favorite President, me, has just announced that they are reinstating my account. Such a thing should never again happen to a sitting President, or anybody else who is not deserving of retribution! THANK YOU TO TRUTH SOCIAL FOR DOING SUCH AN INCREDIBLE JOB. YOUR GROWTH IS OUTSTANDING, AND FUTURE UNLIMITED!!!”

Liberal posts have been flooding the web since news of President Trump’s reinstatement across numerous social media networks broke out. After being banned for years, get ready; Trump is back and his supporters are overwhelmingly ecstatic with this “victory” as people get ready to cheer if he officially returns. Meanwhile, those against his reinstatement have started preparing their cry closets and stocking up their emotional support ponies in preparation of what they deem a horrible turn of events.
