Trump’s message follows the state of emergency that was declared on Thursday by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp in response to the violent protests over the death of environmental activist Manuel Teran in Atlanta.

For the next 15 days, Kemp can call up to 1,000 members of the National Guard to help “subdue riots and unlawful assemblies.”
