With the first month of 2023 passing us by, Americans prepare for the historic year that is 2024. Already, numerous potential candidates have begun the race to fight for their spot at the hardest job on Earth: running the United States of America. However, it won’t be just any presidential election – this time around there is a chance to make great change with an administration that sets a whole new course for America and brings our nation out of its current state.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has surprised many by announcing his consideration for a candidacy in this year’s presidential election. In an interview, Pompeo mentioned that he would make his final decision in the near future. It’s clear to many that Pompeo, who was part of President Donald Trump’s administration, is looking to solidify his position in history. His consideration for candidacy shows that he wants to further serve Americans while potentially facing off against his former boss.

Conservative brief reports, Another former member of former President Donald Trump’s administration has announced that he is considering running for president.

In an interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that he would decide in the “next few months” whether to run for office.

In the past week, Haley, the former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador for former President Donald Trump, was reported to be planning to announce her presidential bid.

It follows Haley’s famous declaration that she wouldn’t challenge Trump in the primary.

In response to her back-pedal comment, Trump offered some encouragement for her.

The former President posted on his Truth Social page Wednesday, “Nikki has to follow her heart, not her honor. She should definitely run!”

Donald Trump has always been known for his loyalty and the people he chose to be part of his administration certainly benefited from it. With that said, it is nerve-racking to see people he previously trusted so quickly are now willing to go against him. However, the president never runs away from a challenge and whatever Mike Pompeo and other former cabinet members decide to do in the coming election, there’s no denying that it will add an extra layer of interest to an already much anticipated republican primary.
