Jailtime For Hunter’s Shady Art Dealer After Comer Reveals The Consequences of His Refusal To Comply

The refusal of Hunter Biden’s art dealer, Georges Berges, to reveal who is buying his artwork has some people speculating bribes and cover-ups. House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer sent a letter to Berges requesting the names of buyers but was rebuffed.

The inaction of Hunter Biden’s Manhattan art dealer to provide any information about the buyers of the first son’s paintings to a congressional committee is collecting outrage from daily citizens who are fed up with political corruption and bribes.

American Outlook reports, there is no way for the American people to know who is buying Hunter Biden’s art. The art’s dealer, Georges Berges, is refusing to say who is buying it.

While Rep. James Comer, chair of the House Oversight Committee, wrote Berges asking for the names, Berges refused to provide them.

The lawyer for art dealer Georges Berges raised “concerns” in a Feb. 6 letter to Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), who chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.

A refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena could result in a $1,000 fine and a year in prison.

Hearings are set to begin Wednesday by the committee investigating President Biden’s international and domestic business dealings.

Hunter Biden’s art has sold from $75,000 to $500,000.

A letter from attorney William Pittard, who represents Berges and Georges Berges Galleries LLC, notes that providing information about the buyers would violate White House rules designed specifically for Hunter Biden’s artwork sale in 2021.

Watch.

The letter stated “Providing the documents and information requested in your letter seemingly would defeat the efforts of Mr. Biden and the White House to avoid the ‘serious ethics concerns’ that you raise,”

The letter cited the ground rules that Jen Psaki explained regarding the sale of Hunter Biden’s art in 2021.

According to Pittard, one of the “safeguards” included maintaining the confidentiality of the buyers, because if the administration were unaware of the buyers, it would be nearly impossible for it to grant them any favors.

Berges’ attorney also points to a 2020 US Supreme Court decision that effectively prevented three congressional committees — including the Committee on Oversight and Accountability — from seeking “documents revealing ‘transactions by the president and his family’,” according to the letter.

An appeals court ruled that three congressional committees’ subpoenas seeking information about family finances were too broad, referring to former president Donald Trump and his children. Likewise, the court ruled that a New York grand jury could subpoena the former president’s tax returns and financial records.

This coverup is seen as a huge scandal, with many wondering what secrets his art dealer intends to hide behind lies and collusion. The refusal by Georges Berges to comply with this inquiry has many thinking that jail time may be the only answer, as bribes were likely involved in the purchase of Hunter Biden’s paintings. To the American people, this complete disregard for transparency is unacceptable and raises questions as to what exactly is going on behind closed doors. It seems clear at this point that something shady might be going on in regards to this purchase and it must be revealed soon to ensure justice can be served against those guilty of perpetuating political corruption.
