Will Biden be Denied a Second Term? Schumer Refuses to Acknowledge Fears

The underlying feeling in the Democratic party right now is one of pandering to polls and avoiding actually taking a stance on whether Joe Biden will remain their nominee into 2024. Despite the slim likelihood that he will indeed be retaining this role. Meanwhile, Chuck Schumer appeared on one of the most widely recognized entertainment shows – The View – to deflect attention away how democrats truly feel about Joe in 2024. This should be entertaining.

As Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer spoke directly on Monday, it seemed as if he was trying to redirect the conversation away from President Joe Biden’s re-election in 2024. Likely in an effort to avoid direct questions about the topic, Schumer listed every accomplishment Biden had thus far. While this may have been an interesting — for democrats who can’t name one– it was obvious that this was a strategy to take away attention from the inevitable questions of Biden’s re-election prospect come 2024.  Especially with his approval ratings being so abysmal.

Conservative brief reports, despite President Joe Biden’s declining approval numbers, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer directly addressed his reelection in 2024.

In a segment on ABC’s “The View,” co-host Sara Haines described Biden’s State of the Union as a “soft launch for 2024.” However, Haines noted several recent polls showing that most voters don’t want Biden to run again.

According to an AP-NORC poll, only 37 percent of Democrats support Biden for a second term. In a poll conducted prior to the November midterm elections, 52 percent of respondents supported Biden running again.

TAKE A LOOK at what he had to say

The Associated Press reported, “While Biden has trumpeted his legislative victories and ability to govern, the poll suggests relatively few U.S. adults give him high marks on either. Follow-up interviews with poll respondents suggest that many believe the 80-year-old’s age is a liability, with people focused on his coughing, his gait, his gaffes, and the possibility that the world’s most stressful job would be better suited for someone younger.”

In Michigan, a lawyer referred to by the Associated Press as “Truckey” said he did not vote for Biden or Donald Trump in 2020 but said Biden has been a “subpar” president.

John Rodriguez, who supports Trump, said Biden is merely doing the bidding of his aides. That creates a challenge for a president who promised to unite the country.

Over the weekend, Biden hinted that a 2024 re-election announcement would likely come in the near future during an event attended by Democratic officials and activists.

Chuck Schumer’s attempts to sidestep questions about Joe Biden’s reelection bid are glaringly transparent – the Democrats clearly don’t have anyone powerful enough to challenge Republican candidates in the upcoming race. Biden is clearly burning his bridges with his supposed numerous voters from last cycle, yet leaders like Schumer stubbornly deny that this is the case. It seems like a lost cause for those eager for Biden to stand another election – it might be time for Democrats to find a fresh advocate with real potential, rather than relying on someone who can barely string sentences together.
