No Longer An Option: End of Transgender Health Care – Kristi Noem Signs Bill

The battle to protect children from being exposed to insidious LGBT and leftist ideology is no small feat, but thankfully we have leaders willing to put our children’s well-being before partisan politics. Governor Kristi Neom has been acclaimed for her efforts in safeguarding the future of the next generation. The parents of South Dakoda can rest assured that she is behind them on the transgender issue.

Gov. Kristi Noem has taken a major stance on liberal ideologies by signing the “Help Not Harm” bill into law on Monday. The bill prohibits minors from receiving gender-affirming health care, from puberty to sex reassignment surgery. This move is sure to trigger many radical leftists  who have been demanding for greater rights when it comes to gender identity and expression, but will be celebrated as a victory by those who are in favor of stricter laws around protecting innocent impressionable children.

Town Hall reports, Kristi Noem, the governor of South Dakota, signed a bill on Monday prohibiting “gender-affirming” health care for minors. These include hormone therapy, puberty blockers, and sex reassignment surgery.

After hearing testimonies from all sides two weeks ago, the bill was adopted.

LET’S TAKE A LOOK at some of the testimonies

In January, the “Help Not Harm” bill was introduced. On July 1, the law will go into effect.

After reports broke that the state health department had contracted with a transgender advocacy group who were scheduled to participate in a “gender summit,” Noem announced her state health secretary’s retirement last year. It was reported that Noem was unaware of the partnership between the health department and the organization.

Noem told The Daily Signal in a statement about the gender summit, “South Dakota does not support this organization’s efforts, and state government should not be participating in them. We should not be dividing our youth with radical ideologies. We should treat every single individual equally as a human being.”

Last week, it was reported that the Transgender Project was suing Noem and the state Department of Health. Apparently, Noem’s decision to terminate the contract resulted in the organization losing a $136,000 grant from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

It is encouraging to see that Kristi Neom kept her promise of protecting the most vulnerable members of society. Republicans have been fighting an uphill battle for a while now, so this ruling has been a welcome reprieve. Since public outcry has been heavy over the Transgender project’s lawsuit, the court ruling should be closely watched. Whichever way it goes, I sincerely hope that the court sides with what is right rather than appeasing public opinion. These evil people need to be brought back to reality and shown that their

harmful activism will not be tolerated.
