As the president appeared lost on stage yet again, former White House physician Ronny Jackson called for an immediate cognitive examination for Biden.
The now-Texas Congressman Jackson demanded an evaluation of Biden’s mental acuity after another video clip showed Biden bumbling around in front of an audience at the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA).
As Biden stammered, he appeared to be confused.
Then he looked vacant before placing his microphone down, picking it up again, and mumbling, “you guys over here.”
Biden also struggled with reading words from his teleprompter during the same speech.
In response, Jackson tweeted, “WOW! What is going on with Biden here??? He’s TOTALLY lost. This man needs a cognitive exam NOW. There’s NO WAY he’s ok!!”
Jackson, who worked on the White House medical team in the mid-2000s and served as both Barack Obama’s and Donald Trump’s personal physician, previously predicted Biden wouldn’t finish his second term if he ran for re-election.
He tweeted last year, “Biden won’t finish his term. EVERYONE knows he’s unfit for the job. His mind is too far gone. This can’t go on any longer. He needs to RESIGN!”
It’s a troubling sight to observe a leader who is unable to articulate ideas, and Joe Biden increasingly appears to be struggling with that. Former White House physician Ronny Jackson’s call for an immediate cognitive examination suggests a serious concern that extends beyond the humorous remarks posted by Biden critics all over social media. It’s not only sad when someone in such a powerful position is unable to function at their best, but especially concerning when it could be related to a more serious diagnosis, such as dementia. It’s time now for Joe Biden to swallow his pride and decide to not seek re-election in 2024 for his own sake. As the oldest President in our history, he needs to take care of himself while he still can.
