Senator Bernie Sanders, a Vermont independent, has made a career of condemning capitalism, but he may be a hypocrite.
On the CBS Sunday show “Face The Nation,” anchor Margaret Brennan confronted the 81-year-old senator over the $95 tickets he was selling for an event promoting his anti-capitalist book, the Conservative Brief reports.
This ticket includes a copy of his book, entitled “It’s Okay to Be Angry About Capitalism,” and a $16 Ticketmaster surcharge, totaling $111.
Sanders is no stranger to accusations of hypocrisy when it comes to his views on wealth accumulation.
Former Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg says Sanders is a multimillionaire with three houses, despite railing against large corporations and billionaires.
Do you remember this moment during the 2020 campaign trail?
Bernie Sanders’ latest hypocritical stunt of charging ticket fees for his anti-capitalism event shows his true character and sheds light on what he actually believes in. For someone who preaches about wealth inequality and rails against capitalism, it is honestly unreal that he would be too blind to see how he is using people for personal gain. The absurdity of the situation speaks volumes regarding what he actually practices despite his anti-capitalist preaching. This only further exposes how he so conveniently ignores his own stances when it suits him and reveals the hypocrite lurking beneath the surface.
