In a Tuesday Truth Social post, President Trump requested that potential presidents take both mental and physical competency tests.

His post read, “ANYBODY running for the Office of President of the United States should agree to take a full & complete Mental Competency Test simultaneously (or before!) with the announcement that he or she is running, & likewise, but to a somewhat lesser extent, agree to a test which would prove that you are physically capable of doing the job.”

He added, “Being an outstanding President requires great mental acuity & physical stamina. If you don’t have these qualities or traits, it is likely you won’t succeed. MAGA!”

With Joe Biden’s presidency, the issue of mental and physical competence has risen to the forefront.

As a result of the numerous gaffes, stumbles, and mistakes Biden has made, he has demonstrated that he is not mentally fit to serve as president.

Among his gaffes are forgetting the names of those in his own administration and needing direction from his handlers.

For example, on Monday, a sky News Australia host simply could not hide her amusement at the ridiculousness of Biden’s gaffes.

The Sky News segment came in response to a recent medical report that insisted that Biden is fit to serve, as the show then played a video of some of Biden’s most ridiculous gaffes.

When the video concluded, the host, Rita Panahi, was wiping tears of laughter from her eyes.

Joe Biden’s endless gaffes have made America the laughingstock of the world.

President Trump’s bombshell proposal to require physically and mentally fit candidates for the presidency is a great idea. Mandatory physical and mental tests for all candidates would ensure that the next President of the United States will not suffer from any health or cognitive issues and can serve their country with 100% focus. By taking this precaution now, we can save America from falling prey to another leader like Joe Biden in the future; who has shown time and time again that he cannot bring forth the necessary knowledge or integrity required to serve our nation properly. With Trump’s new proposed system, passing these tests would show that each individual elected into office is fully fit both mentally and physically- something our country desperately deserves.
