On Monday, actor and talk show host Whoopi Goldberg used the exact same insult against Nikki Haley that prompted critics to call for CNN anchor Don Lemon’s resignation.
The Daily Wire reports, Haley’s campaign ad, released along with her official announcement that she was seeking the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, was played by Goldberg, who apparently objected to the claim made by the former UN ambassador that she would bring “a new generation” of leadership to Washington.
“It’s time for a new generation of leaders,” Haley said in her advertisement, noting that most American politicians were “past their prime.”
During the clip, Goldberg interrupted, saying that Haley was not a new generation.
Whoopi Goldberg’s argument came on the heels of an awkward CNN segment in which anchor Don Lemon, 56, claimed that Haley – who is 51 years old – was “not in her prime.”
Following Lemon’s comments, critics have called for him to be fired from the network. Lemon spent the weekend away — missing Friday, Monday, and Tuesday’s broadcasts.
Whoopi Goldberg has sickeningly revealed her true character by joining fellow radical propagandist Don Lemon in taking a low and ageist shot at former US Ambassador Nikki Haley. It’s yet another example of how both hosts should be fired as soon as possible due to their consistent rhetoric and biased attacks against Republican figures. Their insulting digs are not only offensive, but also unproductive and do not contribute anything meaningful to the national dialogue.
