Reality Check: What Are Americans Saying About Biden’s Condition? A National Emergency?

President Biden’s yearly physical results were recently released, and the American public was far from impressed. As the President continues to stumble through his presidency, it appears he has paid little attention to any of the issues the common citizen feels are pertinent in the current day. The lack of consideration for their needs by the Commander-in-Chief has led to a deep sense of frustration among many citizens, and their anger towards him only deepens with each passing month.

It is not an understatement that Americans are rightfully concerned about the health and mental acuity of President Joe Biden. After all, being Commander-in-Chief of the United States at almost 82 years old is a unique feat and understanding the burden such a job inevitably entails; this makes it entirely understandable to question whether or not any person – regardless of age – can properly carry out the required duties for his position. Joe Biden having chosen to ignore his yearly cognitive test does not put Americans’ concerns to rest either.

Breitbart reports, a poll indicates that more than three in four Americans are concerned about President Joe Biden’s health and mental acuity.

According to a Yahoo/YouGov poll published Tuesday, 39 percent of Americans are “Very” concerned about his “health and mental acuity.” Another 21 percent are “Somewhat” concerned, while 17 percent are “Slightly” concerned. Independents sampled in the poll share these concerns in 82 percent of cases.

There are only 23 percent of Americans who have no concerns about Biden’s health or cognitive abilities.

Respondents were also asked whether they viewed the 46th president as competent. Among Americans, 49 percent believe he lacks competence, compared to 35 percent who believe he is capable of doing the job well.

Here is what happened after Biden got his yearly physical.

Politico’s Jonathon Martin reported last month that some Democrats are worried about Biden’s chances in a general election, despite his “intention” to run again.

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) told Martin that no one would want to undermine the chances of a Democratic victory in 2024. In quiet rooms, however, the conversation is just the opposite – clearing this path could put us at greater risk.

It is shocking to think that a total of 23% of Americans have no real concern when it comes to President Biden’s health. While some of these people are members of generation Z with no life experience, others may simply be close in age to the current president – and just as susceptible to the same vulnerabilities. When the administration continues to shy away from performing a cognitive test, it leaves us with more questions than answers. Their hesitancy implies they know what kind of results would be revealed – take about transparency huh?

Let’s continue this conversation, in the comments below.
