Politicians skipping around questions with evasive answers has been a major source of frustration for American citizens for years. It’s exasperating, to say the least. But amongst a sea of politicians that fail to provide straightforward answers to tough questions, Governor Ron DeSantis stands out as someone who takes his questions head-on but not when it has to do with questions regarding his suspenseful political future.

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has been making waves lately with his hints at a 2024 presidential campaign. While appearing on “America’s Newsroom” on Fox News to promote his new book, he implied that he may be considering a candidacy for President of the United States. He didn’t give any further details in terms of the timeline for making an announcement, but it looks like DeSantis is truly contemplating what many believe could be a successful presidential run. 

Daily wire reports, the Florida Republican governor hinted Thursday that he may announce a presidential run in 2024, if he decides to do so.

During a Fox News appearance regarding his new book and future political plans, DeSantis made the remarks.

When asked what former President Donald Trump’s endorsement means in today’s political climate, DeSantis said, “at that time when he was president, his endorsement was the big enchilada.

DeSantis added, “I think our voters always make their own decisions. Our voters want to look at you and size you up. And they take this responsibility very, very seriously.”

Then the governor was asked about the shortest chapter in his book, titled ‘Make America Florida’. Here is what he had to say.

Ron DeSantis has been almost causing almost as much of a stir as Trump and his potential presidential slogan even plays off of Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again.’ “Make America Florida” certainly has a catchy ring to it. Even though DeSantis has yet to make any official announcement or release a finalized slogan, one cannot deny that he is already sowing the seeds of a larger political push. The question of the moment should be, which person’s campaign slogan will Trigger more hate from the political left – will it be Trump’s subtle yet powerful messaging or Desantis’ more almost copycat version?
