Biden’s Re-Election Chances Dwindling Amid Age Concerns

It looks like the prospect of another term for President Biden is quickly losing steam in the face of inflation, faltering economic performance, and Biden’s obvious mental decline.

With foreign wars looming on the horizon and his increasingly difficult battle with speaking publicly, many Americans are left wondering if Biden has the mental acuity to lead.

Conservative brief reports, according to a recent string of polls, voters do not want Joe Biden to run for re-election in 2024.

In a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll, a majority of registered voters believe Biden is “too old” to serve another term. Almost seven out of 10 voters (68%) admitted that the 80-year-old president’s age is a problem for them.

This assessment is even more widely held among Democrats according to the poll. Roughly 48% of Democrat voters said Biden’s age is an issue, with just 34% saying the president’s age was not a concern for them.

As the oldest president in US history, Biden would turn 86 by the end of his second term if he manages to win re-election.

A Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll earlier this month found that 67% of voters believe Biden is showing that he’s too old for president, which is in line with Yahoo News/YouGov’s findings.

Additionally, 57% of registered voters doubt Biden’s mental fitness, according to the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll.

Biden has not formally declared that he will run for a second term but he has said on several occasions that he intends to seek re-election, yet the American public does not think this would be a good idea.

Associated press reports. The public, including most Democrats, continues to oppose President Biden running for reelection. Biden’s ability to manage government spending, accomplish policy goals, or work effectively with Congressional Republicans or Democrats is not viewed as highly by most adults.

48% of Democrats wanted the president to run for a second term in January 2022, and 52% said Biden should run again in October.  But in the latest poll, support for his reelection among Democrats dropped to 37%.

Just one in five adults want him to run for president in 2024, a slight decrease from October and January 2022 AP-NORC surveys.  Younger adults are less likely than older ones to favor Biden seeking a second term.

As inflation climbs, the economy becomes more unstable, and foreign wars highly likely, many voters feel that Joe Biden is not up to the task of another four years as president. With many citing issues such as his inability to speak fluently, onset dementia or lack of faith in his competency due to age being a factor. The majority of registered voters agree that Joe Biden is “too old” to serve another Presidential term and therefore should not run for re-election in 2024. Although no formal declaration has been made it appears that public opinion has spoken and the current leader of the United States is destined for retirement come 2024. America is in desperate need of a true fiscal conservative, one who cares about this country, and can focus on restoring American pride, We need Donald Trump in 2024 to help save America.
