Don Lemon Publicly Humiliated in Hollywood When Oscars Winner Drops Truth Anvil

It’s the moment that viewers of the Oscars were waiting for: the Best Actress award! But this year, instead of a glowing speech about fellow nominees and her work, the winner took quite the different approach. The moment certainly made headlines as everyone noticed that the actress’ message was directed towards CNN’s Don Lemon. Trust me when I say you won’t want to miss this!

As Actress Michelle Yeoh accepted the Best Actress award for her role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once” at the Oscars Sunday night, she delivered what appeared to be a dig at CNN host Don Lemon

While accepting the award, Yoeh, who is 60, stated, “And, ladies, don’t let anybody ever tell you that you are past your prime. Never give up.”

After Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley called for mental competency tests for politicians over 75 last month, Lemon enraged many Americans with his argument that Haley – who is 51 years old – was “not in her prime.”.

Interestingly enough, during CNN This Morning’s Oscars coverage on Monday, the show cut out the part of Yeoh’s speech in which she uttered her “past her prime” shot at Lemon.

Of course, as you just saw there, Lemon didn’t bring up Yeoh’s “past your prime” comment.

Michelle Yeoh’s epic acceptance speech for Best Actress at the Oscars Sunday night provided one of the only interesting moments of the entire show. The way she flawlessly delivered her line “And, ladies, don’t let anybody ever tell you that you are past your prime. Never give up.” was epic and meaningful, considering Don Lemon’s ill argument that women over 50 years old were not in their prime. Even more interestingly, CNN This Morning edited out this particular part of Yeoh’s speech during their coverage Monday morning, likely as a result of Lemon’s statement several weeks ago. To many people watching the show, it appeared to be almost a direct shot at him and something that wasn’t soon forgotten by any viewers. It proved once again that no matter what someone tells you about age and “your prime,” if you believe in yourself anything is possible!
