Democrats’ Secret Weapon? Mexico’s Prez Threatens To Beat the GOP!

The foreign leaders of the world have become emboldened to throw around their weight, disrespecting America and expecting no repercussions. Not only do they feel comfortable in their misguided notions, but corrupt politicians are now following their lead. The Mexican president is now one of those officials who have stepped over the line threatening our elections, feeling empowered due to the response he has seen from previous erratic behavior from other foreign leaders.

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO), Mexico’s left-wing president, began his tenure with a bold stand: he held a press conference threatening the U.S. Republican Party for talking about deploying the U.S. military to interfere in Mexico’s powerful multi-billion dollar drug cartel operations. He recently threatened to meddle in our elections if the militarization is considered to end his corrupt drug cartel.

Daily wire reports, the remarks of Obrador come as former officials and Republican lawmakers, including former Attorney General William Barr, have urged the use of the U.S. military to stop the flow of billions of dollars worth of drugs into the United States, which are responsible for thousands of deaths every year. It is estimated that the cartels generated $13 billion from human smuggling alone last year.

According to Fox, On Wednesday, Sen. Graham called for the U.S. to unleash its “fury and might” against Mexican drug cartels.

He said, “We’re going to unleash the fury and might of the United States against these cartels,” Graham said. “We’re going to destroy their business model and their lifestyle because our national security and the security of the United States as a whole depends on us taking decisive action.”

Graham says he will introduce legislation that will declare Mexican drug cartels foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs) and authorize military forces to destroy the networks in Mexico.

Congressmen’s comments come after four Americans were kidnapped and killed in Mexico this week.

Director of MRC Latino tweeted what mainstream media omitted, saying,

“Most news media covering AMLO’s response to Graham/Crenshaw failed to mention the part where AMLO threatens to campaign against Republicans.”

The Mexican president’s comments towards the United States are highly unacceptable and demonstrate that our international standing has worsened since President Biden took office. If Trump’s administration had heard those same words, swift action would have been taken against the other country. However, in Biden’s America, these statements will go unchecked, which is why it’s up to our lawmakers to execute a clear response to send a message down south. Biden likely won’t get involved or respond whatsoever which is why it is essential for our representatives to unite and hold accountable those who have forgotten who we are.
