Goodbye Pete! Voters Demand Buttigieg Step Down After His Total Failure in Ohio

The terrible events in East Palestine have been laid at the feet of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and the public has had enough.

Things don’t look good for Mayor Pete as it turns out that most Americans agree that he is not fit for the job he is presently doing.

Breitbart reports, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll released Monday, most likely voters want Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to resign over the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

In the Buckeye State, Buttigieg took a long time to respond to the train derailments, only visiting after former President Trump made an effort to reach out to the area.

Buttigieg’s handling of the East Palestine train derailment appears to have convinced enough likely voters that he should step down.

When survey respondents were asked, “Should Buttigieg resign as a result of how the Transportation Department handled the recent train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio?”

The majority of respondents, 51 percent, said he should resign, followed by 36 percent who said he shouldn’t, and 13 percent who remain unsure.

According to the survey, 41 percent of respondents believe Buttigieg is a “worse” Transportation Secretary than most of his predecessors.

It appears that the House Republicans share the same opinion as the respondents to that poll.

Source 2. Breitbart reports, in response to the latest transportation crisis in East Palestine, Ohio, House Republicans led by Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) called for Buttigieg’s resignation on Wednesday.

Waltz condemned Buttigieg’s inaction and called for his resignation in a resolution co-sponsored by Republican Reps. Claudia Tenney, Ryan Zinke, Clay Higgins, Greg Steube (FL), Mary Miller, Bill Posey, Lauren Boebert, and Mike Collins.

Waltz said in a statement “Over the last two years, Secretary Buttigieg has gone AWOL during multiple national crises, From failing to immediately respond to last month’s major economic, environmental, and humanitarian disaster in East Palestine to neglecting his duties during a historic supply chain crisis, commercial flight crisis, rail worker strike, and so much more, Buttigieg has endangered and failed the American people time and time again. That’s why I am calling for his resignation,”

In the week after the train derailment Senator Marco Rubio called on Mayor Pete to resign, and the sentiment was echoed by lawmakers within Ohio.

Clearly, Pete was asleep at the wheel and utterly unfit to be in charge of this high-stakes role; it is time for him to step down in shame for his failure to do the job he was elected to do. The message from America is clear: Resign now!
