Biden Sides With Cartels, Says Taking Out Mexican Cartels Is A ‘Bad Idea’

President Biden believes that it is “a bad idea” to take out these cartels as he does not believe it would be benefiting our constitutional security or citizens’ safety on either side of the border.

Daily Wire reports, according to Senator Kennedy (R-LA), when he approached President Biden about using the US military to destroy Mexican drug cartels, the president rebuffed him and said that it was a bad idea.

When discussing former Attorney General William Barr’s recent op-ed in The Wall Street Journal urging the Biden administration to use the military against the cartels, Kennedy made the remarks on “Fox News Sunday” with Shannon Bream.

Recently former Attorney General Bill Bar made statements supporting the use of force against cartels.

Fox News reports, Barr penned an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal Thursday advocating the use of the U.S. military to attack Mexican drug cartels within Mexico’s borders.

According to Barr, the Mexican government has allowed fentanyl and other deadly drugs to be shipped into the United States, and the U.S. has a right to defend itself under such circumstances.

According to the article, “The U.S. Must Defeat Mexico’s Drug Cartels”, the cartels pose a greater threat to national security than the American mafia. Hence, “America cannot tolerate narco-terrorist cartels.”

Due to the Mexican government’s inability or unwillingness to confront the cartels within its borders, Barr argued that the U.S. must take action.

Nevertheless, proponents of Senator Kennedy’s plan insist that without taking out these criminal organizations America will continue to be faced with fentanyl-related issues and only grow more endangered by Mexican Cartel activity. It remains unclear how this debate between Joe Biden and John Kennedy will ultimately conclude, but what is certain is that American safety is at stake in this pressing matter.
