Outrage Over Insect-Eating Assignment For 6th-Graders!

A Utah parent was stunned by the insane agenda underneath a climate change curriculum in their school district, where kids as young as 6th-graders were encouraged to consume bugs and grasshoppers.

With disgusted looks on the faces of many, one brave mom took a stand defending her children against this horrible assignment, sparking massive parental backlash.

Trending Politics reports, according to a mother from Utah, her child was encouraged to consume grasshoppers as part of a climate change project by her teacher.

It was the mother, Amanda Wright, who expressed concern on “Jesse Watters Primetime” that her daughter, a sixth-grader, was supposed to write an essay advocating humans eat insects instead of cows as a source of protein. Methane gas emissions from cows are blamed for the destruction of the ozone layer, according to some people.

Fox reports that the teacher apologized to Wright, explaining that the “indoctrination” that humans must eat bugs was part of a district training. The teacher apologized for not allowing students to write about an alternative perspective since she did not know there were downsides to eating bugs.

To some eating bugs is considered a luxury item. Especially in communist countries.

Today reports.  Food Science of Animal Resources reports in Japan bee or wasp larvae are a luxury food, South Korean stores sell silkworm pupae canned, and in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Nigeria edible insects are served in school cafeterias. An agave redworm moth has been identified as the “tequila worm,” found in distilled Mexican alcoholic drinks. Insects are closely related to lobsters, shrimp, and crabs, according to the outlet.

Those with curious palates can find packaged bugs (crickets, grasshoppers, caterpillars, mealworms) in flavors such as chocolate, curry, or honey mustard for human consumption.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, edible insects produce less greenhouse gases than livestock, improve food security, and can be grown on compost. “Therefore, insects are a potential source for conventional production (mini-livestock) of protein, either for direct human consumption, or indirectly in recomposed foods (with extracted protein from insects); and as a protein source into feedstock mixtures,” reads the website.

Outrage over an agenda pushing kids to eat bugs continues in Utah, as moms everywhere refuse to allow their children to participate in an insane school curriculum that encourages such disgusting behavior. Without parental consent, this ‘Climate Change’ course invades classrooms to force the next generation into an uncomfortable and unexpected situation with potentially scary consequences. It’s clear these agendas are not okay with Utah parents, who are uniting to fight against the idea of their kids eating any sort of insect. Insect-eating assignments for 6th-graders should never have been a consideration when it comes to educating our youth – no matter what agenda is pushing such an insane notion.
