North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un has made a brazen provocation against the United States and its allies with a simulated nuclear attack drill. This report is critical, so make sure you stick around to the very end of this video to get all of the details and video footage from inside North Korea of its military formed to counter us ‘imperialist Americans.’
State media reported Monday that Kim Jong-un personally oversaw drills on Saturday and Sunday that simulated a nuclear attack on the United States and South Korea.
An alleged solid-fueled ballistic missile was launched from an underground silo during the drill.
North Korea’s KCNA news agency said the drill also aimed to demonstrate a stronger determination to respond to aggression by the enemy.
The event was a reference to the joint U.S.-South Korea military drills that were in progress over the weekend, including air exercises pairing South Korean fighters with B-1B long-range bombers. The North Korean regime consistently denounces such training exercises as “provocations.”
Despite being a mock nuclear warhead, the missile launched by North Korea on Sunday can fly about 500 miles, which would allow it to reach South Korea in a real engagement. The North Korean state media described the missile as a solid-fueled KN-23 short-range ballistic missile.
An underground launch silo would enable preparations for launch to be carried out in secrecy since solid-fueled missiles can be prepared much more quickly than liquid-fueled missiles. There are several underground silos believed to have been constructed by North Korea, but their readiness for launch is unknown.
As a result of the test launch, the U.S., South Korea, and Japan condemned it as a threat to peace on the peninsula. According to a statement released by the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command on Saturday, Pyongyang’s recent missile launches “highlight the destabilizing impact of its illegal ballistic missile program.”
According to a report published on Saturday by KCNA, hundreds of thousands of “working young people” have volunteered to fight against the United States in a “campaign to defend the country and destroy the enemy.”
According to a video broadcast by North Korea’s state television, 1.4 million people in total have expressed a desire to join the military to counter the ‘imperialist Americans’.
The Korean Central News Agency portrayed the ostensible rush to enlistment as a show of strength against American and South Korean provocations.
The potential threat posed by North Korea’s nuclear capabilities is no laughing matter. This latest act of aggression shows that Kim Jong-Un will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if it means risking the safety of millions of people around the world. In order to maintain international stability, it is essential that all nations work together to ensure that North Korea does not continue its hostile behavior towards other countries.
