Could America’s far-left future include Governer Gretchen Whitmer as President? It is possible, given the Party’s push for progressive and extreme policies.

Whitmer has always been far-left in her views, with her failed policies leading to further division across the electorate in Michigan.

Breitbart reports, during an interview with MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki,” Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer said she doesn’t know if she’ll run for president in the future.

However on another interview with Chris Wallace Whitmer stated that she had no intentions of running in 2024.

Whitmer stated “I am not running for president in 2024. I’ve made a commitment, I have signed up for a second term as governor and I’m going to work every single day to be the best governor I can and put this state in the best position it can be.”

Huffington Post reports, Governor Gretchen Whitmer recently signed landmark legislation protecting the state’s LGBTQ community.

With this campaign, she and her allies sent a message about what kind of state Michigan should be and how to combat the agenda of the far right, both within Michigan’s borders and beyond.

By amending the Elliott-Larsen Act, Michigan’s civil rights law, the new law prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. Renters cannot be turned away by landlords, and employers cannot fire workers who are married to the same sex.

For about 40 years, advocates have tried to pass something like this. In the 2022 election, voters returned Whitmer to office while giving the Democrats complete control of the legislature. It hasn’t happened since the Reagan era.

Senate and House majorities have been working at a breakneck pace. A new tax credit for working poor people, the repeal of anti-union legislation, and several initiatives designed to curb gun violence are among the initiatives they have enacted or are in the process of enacting. Michiganders are concerned about gun violence following the mass shooting at Michigan State University in February.

Due to existing protections, the LGBTQ amendment will likely have a less noticeable impact on everyday life than those measures. Last year, the state Supreme Court ruled that gender identity and sexual orientation fall under Elliott-Larsen’s legal protections.

Recent months have reported that far-left Governor Speculations Gretchen Whitmer is considering a run for President of the United States in 2024. Many Republican conservatives fear this could bring about more of the same – failed policies and divisive, far-left proposals that have been drawing conflict between Michigan residents since day one. From her well-publicized failures on virus Mandates to her disturbing backroom deals during the unprecedented  virus period, Whitmer’s leadership has confused Michiganders far and wide. It is indisputable that she has done immense damage to Michigan throughout her term as governor, but many wonder if America can handle far worse from her proposed White House bid? Would the rest of the country fall victim to her controversial “Whitmerism” agenda? A President Whitmer is not what America really needs right now.
