It’s been a wild few weeks for UFO sightings in North America. From the mysterious Chinese spy balloon shot down over Alaska, to the three other unidentified flying objects (UFOs) that were also shot down, speculation is rampant about what these objects could be and where they came from.

The Pentagon has classified the video of fighter jets shooting down the UFOs in Alaska, leaving many to wonder if there is something more sinister going on. Could these sightings be evidence of extraterrestrial activity? Or is it a sign of a foreign power attempting to gain access to sensitive military information?

Fox News reports, Pentagon officials say footage of U.S. military aircraft shooting down two unidentified flying objects over Alaska is classified and will not be released publicly.

A Defense Department spokesman stated “The footage of the high altitude objects and the takedown of those objects exists, none of that footage has been cleared for release and that the footage remained classified.”

The comments come after the Defense Department said last month that multiple “high-altitude objects” were shot down over Alaska at the direction of President Biden.

A Chinese spy balloon was discovered drifting above the continent just weeks earlier, and it crossed the country from west to east before being shot down off the coast of South Carolina.

However, the DOD has not released any footage or photos of the objects shot down over Alaska despite releasing a still image of the Chinese balloon that was shot down.

The DOD spokesman continued “No official video footage of the objects or their take-down have been cleared for release, and I would not have any information about a timeline for any future potential release,”

However with the first Chinese spy balloon that was shot down, things are worse than what we were originally told.

NBC news reports, it is believed that the Chinese spy balloon, which flew across the U.S., gathered intelligence from a number of sensitive American military sites despite efforts by the Biden administration to prevent it from doing so, according to two current U.S. officials and one former administration official.

China has repeatedly claimed that the balloon was an unmanned civilian airship that strayed off course and the U.S. overreacted by shooting it down. Although several requests for comment have been made, officials have not identified the company, department, or organization that owned the balloon.

The recent spate of UFO sightings and subsequent shoot downs over North America has raised serious questions about national security and foreign interference in US affairs. With no clear answers coming from either government officials or independent researchers, it appears that we are still far away from understanding just what is happening here and why certain information is being withheld from us. Until then, all we can do is speculate and hope for some clarity soon so we can better protect ourselves against potential threats both foreign and extraterrestrial alike.
