As soon as Nov. 2024, NASA’s Orion spaceship will carry an assortment of astronauts on the Artemis II mission around the moon for 10 days.

Despite the fact that Artemis II astronauts will not walk on the moon, NASA promised that Artemis III will feature a woman and a black person walking on the moon. The last boots-on-the-moon landing took place in 1972 with Apollo 17.
