Outdated NPR Gets Hammered With Truth By Twitter

A hornet’s nest was stirred up by a random labeling of National Public Radio’s (NPR) official account as what we all consider them in our heads. This prompted a trigger from many offended affiliates who hate to hear the truth. setting Elon’s trolling game to new heights.

Twitter caused an uproar this week when it labeled the official account of National Public Radio as “US state-affiliated media”. Among Democrat-wing journalists at the company, the designation has sparked outrage, while conservatives have publicly had a field day with the move. This is a major victory for the culture war.

Twitter user Ian Miles Cheong did us the honors by sharing the news, “Twitter has now correctly branded NPR as US state-affiliated media. It is an accurate description.

In fact, the organization is funded by U.S. taxpayers. Upon receiving a screenshot of NPR’s label on Twitter, Twitter CEO Elon Musk shared Twitter’s policy regarding labeling state-affiliated media.

Twitter’s policy says, “State-affiliated media is defined as outlets where the state exercises control over editorial content through financial resources, direct or indirect political pressures, and/or control over production and distribution.”

The President of NPR, John Lansing, responded angrily to the designation, asserting that the station provides “independent, fact-based journalism.”

“NPR stands for freedom of speech and holding the powerful accountable,” he claimed. “It is unacceptable for Twitter to label us this way. A vigorous, vibrant free press is essential to the health of our democracy.”

“We were disturbed to see last night that Twitter has labeled NPR as ‘state-affiliated media,’ a description that, per Twitter’s own guidelines, does not apply to NPR,” he said. “NPR and our Member stations are supported by millions of listeners who depend on us for the independent, fact-based journalism we provide.”

In the weeks leading up to the 2020 presidential election, NPR refused to cover the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

Terence Samuels, NPR’s managing editor, explained at the time why the publication was not going to cover the story, “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions.”

Actor Dean Cain responded, “Taxpayer money should NOT fund NPR.”

Editor of the Daily Caller Vince Coglianese tweeted: “Notice that he doesn’t even bother to acknowledge the role government funding does play in subsidizing NPR. This is written like a statement from a political campaign.”

The truth hurts sometimes and the entire NPR station hates to hear it. The truth to the matter is, we tax-payers are going to have to demand that our dollars stop funding the garage bias the radio giant vomits. Also, radio is obsolete  and so is NPR.
