TAG TEAM Duo in the WH Press Room PUMMELS KJP on Questions Surrounding Trump Charges

In a heated exchange during the White House press briefing, journalists from Fox News and The New York Times teamed up to grill Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on the lack of comment regarding the recent charges against President Trump. As the questions intensified, it became clear that Jean-Pierre was not prepared to give a definitive answer.

Former President Trump arrived at the Manhattan Criminal Court to face his arraignment at the same time as the White House press conference on Tuesday.

The Post Millennial reports, Press Secretary Karine-Jean Pierre said she would not comment on this historic case that has the nation’s attention after being pressed by Fox News’ Peter Doocy whether President Biden feared for his own future in terms of indictments.

The New York Times’ Michael Shear asked why the White House would not comment on this ongoing case, while Biden has spoken “repeatedly” about ongoing January 6 cases. According to Shear, there are “over 500 active legal cases” into the events of January 6th 2021.

In this case, however, the story was completely different for Jean-Pierre.

In the court of public opinion, the lack of comment from President Biden’s administration on the charges against Trump has not gone unnoticed. With the help of Fox News and The New York Times, the pressure to address the charges is mounting, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult for the White House to maintain its silence on the matter. As the investigation continues, one thing is clear – the political fallout from this controversy shows no signs of abating anytime soon.
