Byron Donalds has endorsed former president Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. 

Trending Politics reports, in a statement released on Thursday, Donalds highlighted the importance of the upcoming election, calling it a turning point in history for both the United States and the world.

His statement reads: “There is only one leader at this time in our nation’s history who can seize this moment and deliver what we need – to get us back on track, provide strength and resolve, and Make America Great Again. That is why I am honored to endorse President Donald J. Trump for President in 2024, and I ask my fellow Americans to join me today.”

A Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, Byron Donalds is a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump. He has been a frequent guest on conservative news programs where he has defended Trump’s policies and has been endorsed by Trump’s political action committee.

On several issues, Donalds has voted in line with Trump’s views, including opposing impeachment, supporting tax cuts, and advocating stronger immigration policies.

As of recent, Donalds has also defended Trump amid his indictment, saying that it actually will help him become the 47th president.

Meanwhile, as noted by the Daily Wire, Trump has received many other endorsements from Republican lawmakers and figures. In the Senate, Trump has picked up six endorsements so far from Senators Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), Eric Schmitt (R-MO), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), and J.D. Vance (R-OH). 

With the presidential election still a long way off, it is impossible to know who all will emerge as candidates. However, with Donalds throwing his support behind Trump, it is clear that the future of the Republican Party is looking bright and united so far.
