Wahlberg Builds Hollywood 2.0

Mark Wahlberg dreams of creating a powerhouse in Las Vegas, and he’s already taking steps to make that dream come true.

The well-known actor has announced that he’s planning to create his very own Hollywood studio in Las Vegas, Nevada, and his vision involves not only boosting his own career but also contributing to the local economy by creating 10,000 jobs.

In an interview with Fox Business, Wahlberg revealed his exciting plans, explaining that his goal is to train both actors and behind the scenes staff, as well as providing new opportunities in the state.

Mark Wahlberg stated “The average salary would be $100,000 more than what it is now. We want to train people, create jobs, most importantly, first and foremost, for locals.”

This marks a significant change, especially for Las Vegas. For years, the city, known for its casinos and luxurious hotels, has depended heavily on gaming for employment. However, Wahlberg’s plans could lead to tremendous growth by opening up new opportunities for people living in the city.

Wahlberg chose Las Vegas, where he resides with his family, after leaving California to give his children a better life. The actor, known for his devout Catholic faith, believes that Vegas provides a better quality of life, and it’s more affordable to live there.

In addition to the Hollywood studio, he plans to build other factories for his companies such as StockX, a sneaker resale marketplace, and Municipal, his apparel brand.

The Fox Business interview aired on June 7th, 2021, and it didn’t take much time before fans, politicians, and the media began to talk about the potential economic benefits that Wahlberg’s studio could bring. Conservative news outlets, in particular, have shown ample support for the actor and his plans, heralding it as a pro-business move that will skyrocket the local economy.

The announcement has garnered a mix of reactions from people across the political spectrum. Still, Wahlberg remains optimistic about his plan and is confident in Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo’s commitment to bringing new industries outside of gaming.

Wahlberg said. “There’s lots of opportunity for growth here. And the government, especially our new governor, is really looking for opportunities to create jobs outside of gaming,”

If he succeeds, he won’t be the first actor to attempt to thrive outside of Los Angeles. Atlanta-based Tyler Perry is another actor-producer who has set up a successful studio and one that already hires staff within his suburban Atlanta location, where he continues shooting movies and TV shows.

Wahlberg has credited his deep faith for the success he’s enjoyed throughout his career, and it’s most likely that this sense of faith will continue to serve as his guiding principle as he takes his next steps, establishing himself as one of Hollywood’s most business-savvy and successful actors.

Wahlberg’s Hollywood studio quickly has evolved into a hot topic among many news sources. The announcement is gaining momentum globally and is among the most significant business ventures of the year. The buzz that has developed has caught hearts and the attention of the Right-wing community globally. It is just the beginning for the actor, and it seems he’s determined to make the most of Las Vegas’s endless opportunities. If this studio grows and flourishes, it could lead to an economic boom not only for the city but for the country. There’s no telling what the future holds for Wahlberg, but as he continues to stay in the spotlight for all the right reasons, it’s evident that he has made all the right moves to create a winning career strategy.
