What? Biden White House Pleads with the Press to Not Cover this Groundbreaking Story

The Biden administration seems to be in panic mode as the press has been eager to cover a groundbreaking story, however, the White House has gone as far as pleading with journalists to not cover it. The story in question involves classified documents that have been leaked, and the Pentagon is furious about it.

A leaked Pentagon classified document that has been circulating online has been urged not to be reported by journalists.

As the U.S. government scrambles to respond to what some suggest may be the largest breach of classified information since the Edward Snowden saga, John Kirby, the coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council, made his case during the White House press briefing on Monday, according to the Daily Wire.

Joe Biden is staying informed about the situation, Kirby said on Monday. Asked if the suspected leak is contained and if there is an ongoing threat, Kirby replied, “We don’t know.”

Pentagon officials said on Sunday that the Department of Defense (DoD) is assessing whether the images that began appearing on social media in recent weeks, starting with Discord, are valid and have a national security impact. Among the details shown are what appear to be secret information about China, Russia’s military campaign in Ukraine, and surveillance efforts. In response to the disclosure, U.S. officials engaged with allies, partners, and Congress.

Many of the documents appear to have been prepared for Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other senior military officials, according to a U.S. defense official. Milley claims that these records would be available to all with proper clearances in the future.

As a result of a referral from the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice has opened a criminal investigation into the apparent leak, the Daily Caller notes. Several of the images of documents, according to Kirby, might be doctored.

In a desperate attempt to keep the lid on the incriminating documents, the Biden White House has issued a stern warning to the press to avoid covering the story. The leaked intel contains classified information that could potentially harm national security, but the press has an ethical duty to inform the public about important news stories, even if they may be controversial. It remains to be seen how much the administration can contain this explosive story, but one thing is for sure, the truth will always find a way to come out. The American people deserve to know the facts, and it’s up to the journalists to uncover the truth, no matter how hard the government tries to suppress it.
