Pro-abortion Vandals Strike Pro-Life Pregnancy Center with “Hate” Speech

What kind of person would deface a pro-life pregnancy center with an anti-God message? Oh wait, don’t answer that question, it was rhetorical. Since the overturning of Roe V. Wade, pro- life centers have been at the center of attacks and there seems to be no slowdown in sight. Another clinic in Ohio has fallen victim to one of those attacks.

Over the weekend, a pro-life pregnancy center in Bowling Green, Ohio, was defaced by graffiti bearing an anti-God message. The attack has been attributed to “Jane’s Revenge,” a militant pro-abortion group that the Counter Extremism Project has linked to four other acts of violence against pro-life centers. The graffiti also contained messages such as “liars,” “fake clinic,” and “fund abortion”.

his heinous act of vandalism is part of a nationwide trend of attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers. Such acts are not only un-American but are also based on misinformation and lies. The executive director of the targeted center, Rochelle Sikora, has spoken out about the attack and reiterated the center’s commitment to saving lives.

The Bowling Green Pregnancy Center, also known as HerChoice, provides Christ-centered support for those facing pregnancy decisions. The center had already upgraded its safeguards in anticipation of attacks after last year’s Supreme Court decision overturned Roe vs. Wade. In response to the attack, Sikora invites those who wish to show love and compassion to join the center’s mission.

However, the appalling level of violence against pro-life pregnancy centers is not limited to attacks by such groups, as we have recently seen in the United States. In March of this year, a man in Tampa, Florida, intentionally crashed his van into a pregnancy center. Such acts of violence against centers that protect the unborn and provide Christ-centered support for those in need are unacceptable and against the values of this great nation.

The security footage of the attack suggests the vandal was female, wearing a hat and surgical mask at the time of the incident. This suggests a coordinated effort by the militant pro-abortion group, Jane’s Revenge.

Local ABC Action News actually reported the matter and even got testimony from the clinic’s executive director.

A police report has been filed after security footage recorded the incident.

The attack on HerChoice in Ohio is a shocking reminder of the violence and extremism of pro-abortion groups. It represents a significant threat to free speech and debate in America. We must remember that regardless of our views on abortion or politics, we must hold human life as sacrosanct and act accordingly. We cannot turn our backs on the unborn for political gain, and we certainly cannot tolerate violence against those who stand up for them. The attack on HerChoice should encourage and remind us that we are on the right side. If we weren’t, they wouldn’t be attacking them.
