Hold onto your seats! Anheuser-Busch, the brewing behemoth, stands accused of deliberately marketing beer to children.
In a recent appearance on “Fox & Friends,” Senator Ted Cruz raised serious concerns about Anheuser-Busch’s partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer with a predominantly teenage audience on TikTok.
Cruz, joined by Senator Marsha Blackburn, sent a letter to the Beer Institute, urging them to investigate the beer industry’s self-regulatory body. They allege that Bud Light and its parent company, Anheuser-Busch, intentionally targeted teenagers through their association with Mulvaney.
Cruz pointed out specific instances where Mulvaney’s online content seemed geared toward teenagers and even younger children. The senators argue that this blatant violation of marketing rules warrants a thorough investigation into the extent of Anheuser-Busch’s knowing exploitation of children.
In their letter, Cruz and Blackburn demand that Congress exercise oversight, emphasizing Anheuser-Busch’s failure to exercise due diligence in selecting online influencers. They have included a series of document requests to shed light on the company’s partnership vetting process and their misjudgment in collaborating with Dylan Mulvaney.
Anheuser-Busch’s CEO, Brendan Whitworth, released a statement claiming the company never intended to be part of a divisive discussion. However, they also defended their practice of partnering with a wide range of influencers, seemingly doubling down on the Mulvaney partnership. The public backlash resulted in two high-ranking executives taking involuntary leave of absences.
This shocking revelation of Anheuser-Busch’s alleged child marketing tactics has ignited a firestorm of controversy, leaving no room for complacency. The accusations made by Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Marsha Blackburn demand swift and resolute action, as the well-being of our children hangs in the balance. The public eagerly awaits Anheuser-Busch’s response to these grave allegations, questioning their commitment to social responsibility. Will they be held accountable for their actions, or will they evade scrutiny? The future of our youth and the integrity of our society are at stake. Stay vigilant and stay informed as this story continues to unfold.

I'm a Cruz fan, but I disagree with him on this one! Not everything should be "investigated" by the politicians in that den of thieves known as congress. I think America has spoken, and acted, on this one. Spend our tax dollars on investigating the clinton, obama and biden crime families! Also, rein in the doj and fbi while you're at it!! In other words, Ted? You have your hands full with corrupt government!!!!
