**Texas High School Postpones Graduation as Mere Five Students Meet Requirements, Exposing Flaws in Our Education System**

Texas Marlin High School postpones its graduation after only five out of 33 eligible seniors met the state-mandated graduation requirements. The Marlin Independent School District announced on Facebook that high school graduation would be delayed to June, allowing more time for students to complete the necessary requirements. District Superintendent Daryl Henson made sure that the failing students had numerous opportunities to finish their work. Due to his efforts, an additional 12 seniors are now eligible to graduate.

Henson justifies the postponement saying, “Everything that we have done and will continue to do for the foreseeable future will always be for the benefit of our children.” He adds it’s best to address the problem now rather than invalidate students’ diplomas in the future.
