A top House Republican investigator, Rep. Jim Jordan, has delivered a scathing ultimatum to Attorney General Merrick Garland, demanding an explanation for the alleged retaliatory conduct against IRS agents who blew the whistle on the mishandling of the federal investigation into Hunter Biden.

According to legal representatives of an IRS whistleblower involved in the Hunter Biden tax case, supervisory special agent Gary Shapley documented instances of preferential treatment and political interference in the investigation. Shockingly, it has been revealed that the unnamed senior Biden official, whose testimony before Congress is now being challenged, is none other than Attorney General Garland himself.

Despite Garland’s repeated promises to insulate the Delaware prosecutor handling the Hunter Biden investigation from political interference, serious allegations of bias and retaliation against whistleblowers have marred the entire process.
