New Jersey Garage Owner Attacked Over Parking Dispute
**A shocking attack on a garage owner in northern New Jersey has been captured on film, where around seven men assaulted the business owner and his employees with machetes over a trivial parking dispute. As the community calls for justice, the police have yet to make any arrests.**
Earlier this month, a violent altercation took place in Paterson, New Jersey, when a group of around seven men assaulted a garage owner named Edwin Izaguirre, as well as his employees. The incident, which was caught on surveillance footage, involved the use of a machete against the innocent victims. The origin of this brutal confrontation came from a dispute over public street parking in front of Fleet Truck Service, Izaguirre’s business.
Councilman Luis Velez informed local news outlet WNYW-TV that the street space in question was, in fact, public parking. Velez emphasized that individuals should not take the law into their own hands and encouraged the use of the police department to address such conflicts.
Izaguirre has been running his garage for over a decade without any previous issues. He expressed surprise at the attack, stating that he doesn’t have problems with anyone and is merely trying to earn a living.
During the assault, one of Izaguirre’s employees sustained bruises on his arm and back. Izaguirre himself also suffered injuries that required stitches on his forearm. Apart from using the machete, the assailants also appeared to strike with a bat or club.
Although the Paterson police have been informed of the violent incident, no arrests have been made as of yet. The victims have reported that the attackers are well-known faces in the neighborhood, which has added pressure to bring them to justice.
**As the community and victims demand action, this vicious and unprovoked attack serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing conflicts through proper channels. It is crucial to bring these perpetrators to justice to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved.**
