**Terrifying Attempted Kidnapping Shock Families on Memorial Day: Parents Must Remain Vigilant Against Predators**

In Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, what should’ve been a peaceful Memorial Day outing turned into pandemonium. Authorities arrested John Beaubrun after he attempted to lure two children with candy and then forcibly kidnap them. Thankfully, the children are safe, and Beaubrun is behind bars.

Beaubrun’s sinister actions began when he offered candy to two young children at the beach, in hopes of coercing them to leave with him. Wisely, the children declined his offer. However, their refusal didn’t stop Beaubrun. He forcibly grabbed the youth and tried to flee. Luckily, their family members and nearby bystanders caught Beaubrun in the act and managed to free the children from his grasps.

The suspect now faces two counts of attempted kidnapping and two counts of child abuse without severe bodily harm. Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation is holding him on a $25,000 bond in their jail, awaiting further legal ramifications.

This unnerving incident happened just a few days after another attempted kidnapping caught national attention. A home security camera in Murrieta, California, recorded a spine-chilling encounter between a 10-year-old girl and her abductor. This predator spoke to the girl, asking about her shirt before lunging toward her, forcing her to escape by running up her driveway.

The child’s father rightfully expressed his anger and the traumatic experience her daughter faces now, fearing to walk or bike to school and having nightmares. He joins a chorus of enraged parents who never imagined their quiet neighborhoods could experience such terror.

These frightening incidents remind families everywhere of the importance of vigilance in ensuring their children’s safety from malicious individuals, even in seemingly peaceful areas.
