Shocking Crime at Public Park: Defenseless Mom Attacked While Feeding Her Baby

**Nashville Woman Assaulted While Feeding Infant — Police Arrest Suspect**

Nashville police have arrested a man alleged to have violently raped a woman as she fed her infant child in her car at a public park last week. The disturbing incident has left the community shocked and concerned for their safety.

The horrifying crime occurred last Thursday in Nashville, where the victim and the suspect agreed to meet at a public park, according to WTVF-TV. The two had not seen each other in over a year and had reportedly agreed to meet so the suspect could see his 1-year-old child. The suspect and victim were once in a relationship and shared the child together.

After spending some time at the park, the victim decided that it was time to head home. However, before leaving, she needed to feed her baby, which took place in the back seat of her vehicle. Police believe that this was the moment 24-year-old Ryean Floyd launched his violent attack on the victim, forcibly raping her, as reported by Nashville’s WSMV-TV.

The alleged attack lasted for five harrowing minutes and was captured on audio recording. The chilling audio captures the victim pleading for Floyd to stop his assault while the baby can be heard screaming in the background. Police confirmed that Floyd’s voice is on the recording.

Following the brutal assault, the victim sought treatment for her injuries at a nearby hospital. Law & Crime reported that Floyd was arrested on Friday in connection with the crime. Court records show that he is facing charges of aggravated rape causing bodily injury and aggravated kidnapping. Floyd is currently held at the Metro Nashville jail with a bond totaling $65,000. He is set to appear in court on June 12.

A fellow mother, Monique Becker, who frequents the same East Nashville park, expressed concern and a lack of surprise at the attack. She remains determined to stay alert and vigilant while visiting the park: “I always lock my doors and stay alert,” Becker told WSMV. “Monitor who is around me. I don’t let people get too close. Like 10 feet and then I start looking behind me and start thinking of contingency plans should they do anything that’s in my bubble.”

**Community Shocked, Vigilance a Necessity in Wake of Violent Crime**

The appalling crime serves as a crucial reminder to the community of the importance of staying vigilant and aware during everyday activities. Personal safety should always be paramount, even when in seemingly innocuous situations.
