Shocking! Big Tech Proclaims AI Extinction Danger, BUT Continues Development – Find Out Why!

**Big Tech Hypocrisy: AI Pioneers Warn of Global Threat While Profiting from Its Development**

In an open letter published by the Center for AI Safety, top executives from Big Tech companies warned of the “extinction” risks associated with artificial intelligence (AI), urging regulation to be made a “global priority.” Yet, these influential figures continue to spearhead AI developments within their own corporations, raising questions about their true intentions and hypocritical stance.

The open letter enumerates potential risks posed by AI to humanity and calls for discussion, arguing that reducing the extinction risk from AI should be on par with addressing other “societal-scale risks” like pandemics and nuclear war. However, it seems that the words of these enthusiasts do not align with their actions as they continue to lead the charge in AI advancements.

Many Big Tech executives, such as Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, Google DeepMind Principal Scientist Ian Goodfellow, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates, have signed the letter. The irony lies in the fact that their companies are undeterred in pushing forward with AI development, despite these big names expressing concerns about it.

For example, Google executive Hassabis announced the formation of Google DeepMind, stating that it would “deliver AI research and products that dramatically improve the lives of billions of people, transform industries, advance science, and serve diverse communities,” aiming to achieve the future “faster.” Similar contradictions can be seen in OpenAI and Microsoft, both currently escalating AI advances.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, though not a signatory on this particular open letter, is another example of an industry leader advocating for AI government regulation while still profiting from its development. As a founder of OpenAI, creator of ChatGPT, and leader of the AI-reliant Tesla, Musk’s involvement in AI outweighs his signing of a separate open letter calling for a temporary pause on AI development.

**Call on Your Representatives to Hold Big Tech Accountable**

Hypocrisy within the Big Tech industry is evident as key players continue to develop AI technologies even while cautioning against its potential risks. Conservatives must take a stand and demand that Big Tech be regulated in line with the First Amendment by contacting their representatives. Let your voice be heard on this matter and hold Big Tech leaders accountable for their actions.
